About RoTexCo

Paul Rogan founded RoTexCo in 1995 when the Yorkshire Textiles Industry was still a major employer and a substantial exporter.

Today RoTexCo sells a wide range of high quality carpet yarns, all spun in West Yorkshire, to carpet manufacturers on the Continent.

Most recently we represent Lawton's Yarns in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

Transportation Textiles, Aircraft Yarns and Automotive carpets are brokered to our primary industrial customers.

Paul trained in sales, management and exports and worked in the world renown carpet manufacturing factory at Dean Clough Mills, Halifax. He later became Commercial Director at a heavy woollen yarn spinners based in Dewsbury, appointed to the main PLC board. Some of the firm's primary operations were run at their Calder Bank Mills whilst the main offices and finishing was at Jilling Ing Mills in Earlseaton.

Textiles for today's world.

Our yarns produce 'probably the best velour wool carpet you can walk on' ... and, if you have ever flown, the aircraft's carpet was probably made from our yarns too.

Most cars assembled in the UK contain textile components supplied by our principles, many from re-cycled materials.

From the Worsted yarns supplied for weaving the Figured Wilton carpet for The Prince's nursery room at High Grove and Concorde's supersonic elastic Axminster floor covering to the Fibre Bonded textiles for the latest Nissan Jazz..... the Rogan family have been involved in supplying yarns, carpets and fabrics for FIVE generations.

Out and About

It all started with WOOL, then other fibres came along but they always ended up as Yarns and Carpets.
